Library Blogs

I searched Libraries to find out what information I could about what is being written about them.There was everything from budgets cuts to reviews on books.National Library week was also a big hit with many Libraries commenting on what they have planned for that week.Some libraries were Currently running a survey to determine if your needs are being met by the Library services.At Davis College Library There is coffee, bagels, muffins, scones and fresh fruit available for you on the first floor of the library, Please come share and enjoy!
The tweets I found most interesting were the surveys and the things that were planned for National Library Week.At our Library we have a series of events throughout the year for different topics.I have attached a copy of our Library display for 2010 for our Summer Reading Program.

Week 13 Web 2.1 Refreshing your blog

1. How much have you blogged since you finished the original course?

Since starting the course I have not blogged but am hoping to in the near future.


2. What do you like about blogging?

The thing I like best about blogging is that you have a wide variety of templates and ides to choose from to make it look exciting and enjoyable.

3. Have you found other blogs to read?

I have read a few other blogs and each all all different and enjoyable to read.A lot of people have different ideas on setting their blogs out.

4. Do you comment on others' blogs?

No I have not commented as yet on any persons blog.Maybe in the future I will.

Week 12- wrap up, social networks and catch up

I have learnt so much from doing Web 2.0.It has shown me that apart from any resources we have at the library there is always somthing new and interesting that we can find online by doing social networking .The tutorials were excellent and I feel I have obtained a better understanding of the use of tools and applications.
